MY JOURNEY

When I was a girl I dreamed a lot of being a prima ballerina, and for many years I went to dance classes.  I used to play with my friends and pretend we were in a super star stage dancing. In a flash I was quitting that dream to study journalism in college. Primarly because I also loved --and still love-- to investigate the truth behind everything.  But truth be told; I was bored. I needed to move my body.  There was always a feeling to do something superhuman and help people in a different way. 
One day I saw a juggler on the streets who immediately captured my attention.
So many days and months passed and the universe brought us together once more, and so we finally met each other.  He motivated me to do an aerial circus class in his circus school. He said to me "you are an artist". I did the class, and that was when I flew for the first time 12 years ago. 
I felt in love with circus.  And we have a baby together. 
So... In a flash, I really did run away with the circus.  
And might I say its been the best decision in my life.  

I started to train circus arts, but also assist teaching clases. I was the circus coordinator and the social circus (youth at risk program) coordinator program in the National Circus School of Puerto Rico. I also worked in the Circus Therapy program with special needs children. 
For me to be a circus teacher is one of the most special part of this journey.  

I produced the "Circus Summer Camp", "Circus in Wonderland" show, "Saltimbanquis" Show and "El Principito" Show for the National Circus School of Puerto Rico.

Note:  Since the pandemic I'm doing private lessons and working as an independent teacher and artist.​
